Chainwheel Drive

I purchased a Cannondale Treadwell from Chainwheel Drive a few months ago. I took it back to have some fit and customization and they did an awesome job. That service, including cutting my handlebar to fit, is free with the purchase of a bike and I was so excited to get a custom bike for no additional cost. They are awesome to work with and I am confident in recommending them for any bicycle or any service you might need. Thanks Sean!

Great experience buying my new bike! Jerome was patient, knowledgeable, and never rushed me. He let me test ride three different bikes to make sure I found the perfect fit and answered all my questions along the way. Having an in-house bike fitter was a huge plus and helped me choose the correct bike size with confidence. The whole team genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my purchase. I ended up getting a brand-new Specialized Tarmac SL8 Expert at 20% off, which made the deal even better. Couldn't be happier with the bike and the service. Highly recommend Jerome and the entire team!

Over from the UK and spent a few days in Clearwater to extend a business trip to Florida and decided to rent a bike and found the Clearwater, St.Pete, Tampa area wonderful for cycling. Chainwheel Drive were excellent! Friendly, excellent advice and great value for money. Would highly recommend!

Excellent place to rent a bike! I found this shop where I was able to rent a bike for a week so I could keep up with my training while traveling for work. They treated me incredibly well and offered great service! I brought my own pedals and power meter, and they installed them super quickly. They also lend you helmets so you can ride safely on the streets. The only thing is that they don’t have a wide selection of cycling clothing, so it’s better to ask in advance about sizes if you’re traveling and need to buy cycling gear. Overall, a great experience — highly recommended! 🚴‍♂️👌🏻

Went in to see if they could help me extend the handle bars on a bike I’d bought less than 24 hours ago at another shop that ended up being too short. Gil told me how I could do it but recommended I just return the bike for a bigger one. He gave me all of the things to look for when picking a bike, how my feet should be, my arm position…etc. then he showed me a few bikes they had in the shop and I ended up immediately falling in love with one of the bikes he recommended for me and my riding style. Got to test drive a few of them too! Had a great experience, and one of the best I’ve had when buying a bike or other sports related item. Gil even helped me load it into my car with a hatch that doesn’t work 😂. Great customer service and very knowledgeable staff.
